Gratitude Group Zoom Meetings Trusted Servents

Dear Trusted Servants,

Let me start off this conversation with my personal thank you for your leadership and contributions to Gratitude Group and Alcoholics Anonymous. Service work to me is the other 33% of the program.

Lately Zoom meetings have become the WILD WILD WEST. As a responsible member of Alcoholics Anonymous, playing Mr. Nice Guy no longer is effective. I come from Old-Time AA, and back in the day, this kind of behavior was dealt with in ways that we would not dare do today, over the fear of being a bully. Since we cannot revert to that kind of behavior all the time, in which these activities have deserved the bully approach, I did lose it once in a recent meeting. As adults though we need to take a zero tolerance approach to the problems immediately, so they will cease and desist. The issues lately have been severely irresponsible on behalf of individuals in Zoom meetings. The message I want to convey is meant for everyone, both the innocents and the guilty.

As trusted servants we have to place principles before personalities, regardless of how we feel about someone, we have to ignore our personal feelings behind the principle of an open AA meeting, everyone is welcome! The only exception to this rule will be if the group as whole has banned someone from our meeting.

The leadership of the Gratitude Group has created this slide, that I must INSIST that you please include as the first and no later than the second slide in your presentation please.
